A strong children's ministry plan from 2026 to 2028 focuses on three big goals: winning kids to faith, teaching them deeply, and unleashing them to serve. The plan must train leaders, protect children, and help families grow at home.
The 3 Core Pillars
1. Win (Evangelism)
Goal: Reach more children with the Gospel.
Action: Host engaging events like a yearly Vacation Bible School (VBS) or a "Children's Fun Day".
Action: Use unified Bible stories that show how the whole Bible connects.
2. Wean (Discipleship)
Goal: Help kids grow in their faith.
Action: Equip children to pray, read their Bibles, and serve others.
Action: Send weekly "Parent Cue" emails to families. This helps parents continue the lessons at home.
3. Unleash (Leadership)
Goal: Give kids active roles in the church.
Action: Let older children help teach, lead songs, or run tech equipment.
Action: Teach kids to care for their community and the environment.
